Ridiculous Kale Chips (They are ridiculously delicious, ridiculously nutritious, ridiculously expensive to buy pre-made in stores, but ridiculously inexpensive and easy to make!!)
1 bunch of Kale
2 tbsp organic extra-virgin olive oil
pepper, sea salt, Herbamare, nutritional yeast...(your choice)
Wash and rip bite-sized pieces of fresh kale from the stems.
In a large bowl mix about 2tbsp of olive oil some pepper, sea salt, Herbamare, nutritional yeast or ANY herb or spice you want. (Easy on the salt-a little goes a long way)
Spread out on a large baking pan and bake at the lowest setting on your oven (150-180 - convect if possible).
This way can take an hour or more but you don't have to worry about them burning and the low heat preserves the enzymes and vitamins in the kale.
They are done when they are all crispy and no longer damp or limp.
Keep in a sealed glass container (if any are left to keep!)
Enjoy!
